Battery 2030+ Workshop on Recycling & Young Scientist’s Hackathon

On 6 March Battery 2030+ brought together the battery community online to discuss battery recycling. The morning was filled with discussions around innovations in recycling, new approaches, and future challenges. In the afternoon a young scientist’s hackathon aimed to bring forth new ideas in the areas of business and commercialization related to battery recycling. For the young scientists from INERRANT this lined up well with our project’s goal of rapid commercialization.

“This sort of active workshop feels like one of the best ways of learning about commercialization”, reflects Tadeáš Wangle from UJEP.

The hackathon was a great first opportunity to connect online and gave rise to the desire to meet in-person to discuss with investors and further learn from one another.
